PWTOOL(1) DragonFly General Commands Manual PWTOOL(1)
NAME
pwtool - A command-line interface tool to libpwstor
SYNOPSIS
pwtool [-vhb] -p password
DESCRIPTION
The pwtool command acts as a command-line front-end for the libpwstor (
pwstor(3)) library. Currently, the password to encode must be specified
on the command line via the
option. Additionally, the following options may be used:
-v causes pwtool to print the current libpwstor library version and exit.
-h causes pwtool to print help, similar to the contents of this manual
page, and exit.
-b causes pwtool to print its output in standard format, which will not
be human-readable on most terminals.
The default behavior of pwtool is to print the output in Base64-encoded
format.
